Im an expat Christmasoompa, i try very carefully to not mention im a ***** (wont actually say the word) anymore.... i used to run the immigration to canada website for 2 years, i have alot of useful...

I went when i emigrated and found it brilliant, i guess its who has organized it and where it is.....

10 years in Calgary
Love it here.... summers are hot, winters bloody freezing.... but wouldnt go back... my kids were born here, I wouldnt want my kids raised in the UK.
Mountains are an hour away, plenty of jobs in...

I dreamt of living close to the Rockies since vacationing as a child :)
There are things I miss about the UK, but its not the place I remember years ago...
I am glad and happy to call Canada home...

YES, I would do it over... my family in UK are always saying never come back.... its a better standard of living here, a beautiful place. Dont get me wrong you will get home sick but that decreases...
