We got back to SA in mid Aug on a “special” flight so had to go via Dubai. We had tests at Randox so it might be worth checking them out at Randox.com. Emirates stated that the test had to be done...

We used to live on Al Diyafah St (now 2 December St) - Rydges was our local - there was a great Mexican restaurant there too. I think it moved over to the Wafi at a later date.

Sorry no idea but I always find its best to call into an Etisalat office when you are trying to sort something out. Try the Airport Road branch or find one of the booths in various malls.

Personally I would go for the WTC - location is good and plenty of outdoor space on the Corniche when you need it :) Balconies used to be banned in AD and that's why you will see so many buildings...

We were in Kuwait for a while around 2010 - 2011 and it was fine. As you have lived there before you will be aware of the driving and the notorious Ring roads scattered with various wrecks of cars...

I have lived in UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. I thought Kuwait was OK really apart from treacherous driving not helped by all the ring roads which are race tracks and lethal after dusk - it is far worse...
