Re: Scotland and Independance

Sorry but that's piffle. The Scots have known about and been debating/discussing this for months. What you actually mean is that the London based media and politicians didn't really pay any attention...

Re: New job near Macquarie Park, Sydney - where to live?

Re: HELP PLEASE NEIGHBOUR RUINING HOUSE OPENS

If you don't go down the private viewing route (which would be my choice) then either your agent or you will have to stand at the door and refuse them entry next time. I doubt you are going to avoid...

Re: Moving to which city?

$65k sounds very low for a Software Developer in Sydney imho.

Re: Where to live?

Take a step back here, if someone was to ask you "hey I'm moving across to Europe can you recommend me somewhere to stay?" you'd think that was a pretty ridiculous question wouldn't you?

All the...

Re: Best Suburbs in Sydney-again sorry!

I'd agree with that. I live in the southern end of the NBs so any bus ride to city is shorter than an hour.

Re: Best Suburbs in Sydney-again sorry!

I see you've mentioned "Northern Beaches". A daily commute from here to Balmain would be a complete biatch, imho. A quick check shows a minimum of 3 buses!

Balmain is not in the CBD. You will find something good in Balmain (or one of the surrounding suburbs) for $900/week.
