Although I left Spain a few years ago now, I still like popping in here to read the discussions, and even contribute from my experiences from time to time when I feel it appropriate.

I did note...

Re: Was Disneyland originally planning an Pego in Valencia before Paris 'won'?

Monte Pego is huge and has been there for some time. We heard talk about Disneyland back in 2009ish. Our Photography group was based there at one point, and I never heard any complaints about the...

Re: Cheapest way of getting a little dog into Europe?

Often you get what you pay for with low cost dentists :-) :-)

Vets train for years, spend huge amounts of money on equipment and premises and in this case help to keep the animal population of...

Re: Which country in EU has best pension system?

But no one can tell you which is the best system unless they have lived in and benefited from pension systems in many countries. That doesnt happen, because normally you are tied to one or two...

Re: Medical costs

On dentistry, having had experience of both, I can assure you if you find the right dentist in Spain their prices are nothing like the UK.

Checkup and a filling here in the UK just cost £120. In...

Re: anyone recommend a UK to Spain removal van hire?

Re: anyone recommend a UK to Spain removal van hire?

When you do it, give some thought to the route. When we drove down we did a 26 hour straight through stint with two drivers coming down through France.

Re: How Hard Is Really To Get A Job In Spain?
