I did not have to renew my passport with the new rules at the Consulate (was able to have it same day 1 year ago), but I went to the (SF) consulate a month or so ago to do a "procuration de vote"....

NB: An interesting observation about the divorce rate. When we got married in Michigan, we got a bunch of statistics. The divorce rate where we got married was huge, like 60% or something like that....

The earning capacity was definitely one of them.

And for a lot of the wealthier people, they were the favorites and lovers and so on, which were more or less socially accepted especially for men...

Every once in a while, we are also thinking about moving back to Europe. It is very vague because of a lot of unknowns. But, we figured we would wait until I have US citizenship, which is 3-4 years...

Definitely SSA. When I changed my SSA card to remove the "not valid to work without INS authorization", the SSA woman told me to notify them if I became a citizen. I would keep the same...
