Does anyone know of any welders starting on this job? Are they struggling to get guys? Do you need PR or are they taking 457? I've heard some rumours of guys coming from UK on some sort of leave...

I've been keeping an eye on seek.com for just over a year now, and normally there are between 90 - 110 welding jobs if you enter Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne.
This year there doesn't seem to be many...

I've seen a few posts mentioning them. Just wondering how bad it gets with them? Are some states or cities worse for them or is it an Australia-wide problem?

Council houses in Oz?

Maybe a silly question, as I haven't heard anybody mention it before. Do you get council houses or housing association houses or are your only options buying and private let?

Sue, we had a look at some houses in aveley, they are very smart, we like them a lot, ditto the houses in Ellenbrook. The reasons for Mandurah were more work...
