Re: Flood tax
I can see how it can be interpreted that way. And I apologised for it and explained that it wasn't intended to be.

Re: Anti-Americanism, Anti-Foreigners of any kind?
I never said you advocated it. I used it to highlight the benefit society gets from children (i.e. no children equals no society) which was countering the point that children only provide...

Re: Flood tax
I have nothing against tabloids or tabloid readers.
They are designed to be sensationalist so people should not be surprised when they are sensationalist.
I, in no way, think you are a tabloid...

Re: Flood tax
Wow! Apologies for coming across as a patronising snob. It wasn't intended.
I was just saying why, maybe, I don't have such an adverse reaction to this.
I'll **** off now! It's not worth...

I'm referring to the one which started your crusade. Whether it was the first or not I don't care and I'm not going back to check.
However it was arrogant and patronising. Although I don't condone...

Re: Flood tax
Maybe it depends on how you measure it. It appears that there was more inundation in Qld. Using deaths as a measure is problematic as to how many deaths were due to the disaster and how many were...

Re: Anti-Americanism, Anti-Foreigners of any kind?
Not more children, just children. The point I made is that society benefits more from children than the parents in a financial sense. Without children the economics of any society would collapse. ...
