how about a catch-up for members of the bored who are in riyadh this thursday (28/5)? was thinking of a (very) casual bbq around one of the pools on Eid kicking off around 3pm or so.

stick with the USD (for now) the GBP is only getting better by virtue of the USD being weaker. so it's no real confidence (more or less) in the GBP, it's just lack of confidence in the USD. ...

sorry, no, haven't been over there yet. a coleague has been there recently for a weekend break and said it is much more civilized/relaxed than riyadh and, of course, there's the beer & bacon zone...

process is (roughly)
- land in country
- do a second medical
- send paperwork off for iqama
- wait (about 2 - 3 weeks)

have only recent succumbed to the smoking bug (again) recently. hadn't smoke for a couple of years, now am back to bad habits.
