Yeah I live in Dublin too - not a million miles away from you if memory serves me correct. So you can have a proof of address in the South or do you need one in the North or the UK?

Sky (satellite) or UPC (cable) are you best bets over here, Sky will put up their own dish - you can get all UK TV via Sky on a basic package (including Channel 5 if you have the right code).

We went last year and are going again this. We usually go to Florida but with the recession etc had to find somewhere cheaper. Where we were was nice and quiet and suited us as we either lay around...

It's a great idea if you can find somewhere at Dublin airport selling SIM cards! If you can't your best bet would be to call into an O2 or Vodaphone shop and buy one.
