Thanks for the reply, I was thinking of the US route, although without having her PR card as its lost, would the just COPR be enough to re-enter the land border?

so my father, who is a british citizen on holiday here, had a funny turn yesterday and we had to call out ems.
hes ok, they checked him out and went on their way.
he has travellers insurance, ...

hi all,

I received my passport copy request on 19th june, which I sent off as directed my the email.

it was received and signed for at CPP Ottawa on 24th june.

I have since received 2 more...

AINP might take 6 months, but its the PR stage that takes forever.

I applied from the uk, its like anything that involves paper work in Canada it takes time.
they have to call previous jobs to clarify your hours and qualifications

you do realize that applying for PR whilst in canada can take just as long as applying from the UK.
and if your planning on flying in then sitting your exam on the same day I wish you luck.

you cant contribute to an rrsp in your first year as you have not worked a full tax year.

or so I was told by my employer when I first arrived.
