Anyone done this before?

I'm trying to find out if our car seat is suitable, but the Emirates website only gives information about US, Canada, Europe and Germany safety standards.

The only...

Re: Moving to Perth- where to live?

Hiya,

It really depends on what you're after.

We live in an area called Yokine, which we love as it's close to the city, very well established, only a 20 min drive to the ocean. The other...

Such a horrible feeling.

I've spent Christmas with my elderly parents in the UK, but had to leave my wife back in Perth as we couldn't afford tickets for both of us.

I'm flying back to Perth tomorrow and am so looking...

Re: Wanted Down Under - Series 6

Probably because people watch them due to their 'entertainment' value, as opposed to factual information.

The actual information the programme provides for those wanting to move to Australia is...

Re: Wanted Down Under - Series 6

Well the painter guy said he could earn around $70k pa, and her hairdressing was around $20-$25k I think?

Considering she isn't working in the UK, I'm guessing her added income makes a big...

Re: Wanted Down Under - Series 6

I actually felt embarrased for her. It was blatantly obvious she wasn't skilled up enough.

Prescriptions for expat pensioners

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is any concession on prescription prices for expat pensioners? I'm trying to talk my folks into moving over to Perth, but they have concerns over their medication...

Re: Marangroo Area Info Please!

I'd say that in that area of Wanneroo Road (south of Morley drive/north of Charles Street) the areas on the west are likely to be just as busy, if not busier than those on the east. Reason being...

Re: Marangroo Area Info Please!

Hmm don't follow that as a rule. There are some very nice areas east of Wanneroo Rd.

Yokine
Dianella
Inglewood
Coolbinia

The rule does however apply if you're looking east of Wanneroo Road...

Your post insinuated that it is a UK problem, bottom line is that it isn't. It happens elsewhere.
