Re: Experts, et al...Can I take a COPY of the passport request??

I can't be absolutely sure, but I can see absolutely no reason why not. As long as you have the relevant details and your real passport, it should be fine. Good luck from another Rhodes...

Re: Just in case you need to withdraw application

I was glad to see Elton John on the list. When I go to Canada, I'll never have to hear the name again. :)

Re: is this a good deal

You'd need a big room to put it in! It does seem like pretty good value if you have the money to spend, but perhaps these thigngs are cheaper in Canada. Only you can say if it is what you want.

Re: Career Reality Check

Sounds a bit like a one man band. It has been said that Bob Dylan is a genius, with his guitar and harmonica, but add cymbals between his knees and you'd have a loony.

Re: vancouver advise.for people wanting to move here

Ah, this expresses what I meant in my last post rather more eloquently than I managed.

Re: vancouver advise.for people wanting to move here

I wholeheartedly agree with Velouria's comment.

I'd also have to say, and this might be where Vel and I diverge, that it is not necessarily racist to want to live in a community where you feel...

Re: vancouver advise.for people wanting to move here

They had English people in their commercials, I gather, but pretty sure it has never been available here. I love tea, but only use Twinings or Jacksons of Piccadilly.

Re: vancouver advise.for people wanting to move here

I understood that Red Rose made a thing about not being available in England. Not that we'd drink the cack anyway, of course. ;)

Re: vancouver advise.for people wanting to move here

Here in the motherland, 'whisky' means scotch / Scottish whisky and whiskey is Irish or American (in a continental sense).
