I managed to get one way insurance from Australia but can't remember who it was with:confused:

However...I had to phone companies for a quote as they didn't seem able to process it online???

A PR visa may take longer than 3 months.....if you qualify in the first place.

Have you checked if either of you is eligible for a PR visa?

What does your husband do?

A work sponsored visas...

A working holiday visa is pretty easy to get.....registration with AHPRA is more complicated....you can not work unless you have registration and a licence to practice in Australia...sort them out...

I am / was but not in NZ, as I said earlier,...I worked in Australia for several years but as a MH nurse.....there was no option to work as a CBT therapist without jumping through too many hoops.

Cognitive therapy,maybe,but Behaviour therapy has been around a lot longer.
In fact The BABCP was originally the BABP when I joined.

You should, perhaps, contact a few practitioners in NZ to see...

I don't know....your qualification will need to be assessed by the relevant accreditation agency....and usually this done by the relevant professional body....CBT is not a 'profession' so you will...

Your first problem will be getting your qualifications accepted.

CBT services will be very different to the UK.....it is nowhere near as developed nationwide.

Most public services will require...

They have raised the issue of balance of family in relation to visas but a tourist visa is available to anyone regardless of numbers...

Have edited my original post.

I was confusing the non contributory parent visa with the non contributory aged parent visa.

You can apply for a non contributory parent visa under the age of 65...

Not that simple....a contributory parent visa will cost around $50000 each and will take a couple of years to process......

There is a non contributory visa but that can take many years to...
