Re: Cambridgeshire

I cannot remember what that place was called, but it was across the street from the jewelers that sold the fancy watches at the start of the pedestrian walk way that led to Gardinas(sp) which had one...

Egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls (substitute S&S for curry sauce) and prawn crackers was my main meal there. Yum!

Re: Cambridgeshire

I was born and raised in Cambridge. Lived in Arbury for about 30 years before moving right on the Chesterton border for the last two years before I moved to the US. Lived in and around Phoenix,...

Re: Taking a cycle to the UK

I've been shipping bikes and bike parts to the UK all year via FedEx for a friend in the UK who buys them off Ebay. A full bike is usually between $70 and $100 and it gets there in 3 days.

Re: Vick pleads guilty

18 month to 36 months from what I've read and while his lawyers were trying to get it below a year, I doubt that will happen. As for his NFL career, I'd say it's over. He will miss the next two years...

Re: Brits in Charleston SC

I was in North Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago and took the drive down the Charlston to visit Fort Sumter and the Drayton Hall plantation, which was all extremely interesting. You certainly don't have...

Good for Gordon. Union Jack waves on No.10

I am by no means a fan of the new PM, but I like this decision. Living in a country that takes pride in its flag, it is nice to see Brown reversing this stupid rule....

Re: Do you have satellite radio?

Not so fast. There are merger plans, but the government will make them jump through hoops first for fears of a monopoly.

US radio is crap, due to the constant ad breaks and most stations loop the...

With a limited credit history, you file number takes a hit if you borrow money from several lenders over a short period of time. My first score was 700 and then dropped 50 points after the mortgage,...

Re: San Francisco: Parking close to AT&T Ballpark

Well, I'd probably be travelling up from Monterey on the Sunday morning and then driving back down to San Jose airport after the game to make a flight, so parking as close to the ballpark as possible...

San Francisco: Parking close to AT&T Ballpark

Parking looks to be a premium close to the Giants ballpark in San Francisco. Any locals know a good spot or a rough estimate of pricing for a Sunday afternoon game?
