Re: Help! how to import baby formula to China for my children?

I saw in another thread you used to live here, do you have any friends here that could post them to you? HK post is very cheap fortunately. Although I am unaware of whether this is legal, I assume so.

Re: Help! how to import baby formula to China for my children?

Are you near to HK?
Most parents with this fear will go to HK to buy the stuff, if they are able to.

Re: Moving to Hong Kong in July

None of this has really much to do with the original question has it?

Meetup.com is probably the best bet, it is very easy to meet other foreigners in HK if you are social and friendly. There are...

Re: What would he need?

He should be entitled to a Permanent HKID card which allows him to work and live freely in HK.

Re: I wonder how many people want to move back but can't afford to..

Fair enough, but I found it confusing because her posts were very near to each other, but saying opposite things so which is it?

Re: I wonder how many people want to move back but can't afford to..

Well yeah obviously, I didn't say otherwise.

Re: I wonder how many people want to move back but can't afford to..

That's good to know the QM2 is still running, unfortunately it isn't really an option for us as we'd be departing from HK, but wondering if anyone has heard of traveling via sea freight ?
I've read...

Re: I wonder how many people want to move back but can't afford to..

I'm pretty sure that is not true. Unless you know for sure, that every single airline out there, on every single route has banned these dogs, I don't think you should be making statements like that...

Re: I wonder how many people want to move back but can't afford to..

Other than the QM2 (Which I heard had stopped running), are there other dog friendly routes via sea available?

You can fly snub nosed breeds still but not all of the airlines will, a lot of the...

Re: Hello and Help?! Question about length of stay and British Passport

Providing you have a valid HKID card the following applies to public healthcare.

GPs are generally private clinics found locally, and a trip to the drs will cost you $250-500 per time depending on...

Re: Hello and Help?! Question about length of stay and British Passport

The answer isn't black and white and re-entry is never guaranteed, that is why none of the embassies will answer you, I doubt immigration themselves would give you a direct answer.

Technically you...

Re: Best place to live in Hong Kong

Flatsharing is more common amongst foreigners and less so with locals.
I'd advise you to prioritise the flat itself over the flatmates as apartment hunting here is more difficult than in the UK...
