I am going to the Imm Attorney today ( we have paid her $3000 yesterday) to file jointly because i am totaly dependent on him for supporting me because i have NO income and have used all my resouces...

Hi Folks

Well as some will know i am on day 13 waiting for my visas to be delivered from London Embassy. I e-mailed the embassy 5 days ago and today i got an answer saying it was now completed...

Ye...I bet a few newcomers would think it was a breeze if this was filing on USA side ...DCF seems so fast compaired to my timeline....
My husband filed I-130 ( in USA) on October 18th...

We are on day 9 and still no visas :( I called the embassy and was told i am way out my timeframe of receiving the visas so i have e-mailed the embassy to find out if they can help send...

I was approved CR1 & CR2 on the 12th september pending medical results ...i talked with the Doctors surgery today and they told me that my medical results went the consulate on the 11th september so...

this is unusual for the embassy to be behind with sending the visas out but hey this process has been long and...

Thanks Rete that gives me an idea and i think better to let jeff know that i may be an hour or so from landing.
Miami is a busy airport....actually its a real dump when you enter it but departing...

Yes i can definitely say your hubby needs to apply for the ACPO for the Police certifiate. I am scottish also :)
The police cert only takes a week to be done also get him to buy 2 copies its £35...

Well good luck whatever you decide to do K1 or I-130 ( CR1) route. Either way its a waiting game. I went over on a visitors visa and we got married which was not breaking any law because i returned...

I am from Aberdeen :) Born and lived most my life here :)
I flew easyjet from aberdeen to luton because it was the cheapest i could get at only £220 return for my son and i which is real...

I meant to say ...I always thought you had to enter on a 1 way ticket with CR1 Visa.

Yes i know its probably cheaper to get a return ticket but i always thought that if you enter on a return ticket after receiving a Resident Visa.
I won't take the chance besides the difference is...

It don't matter what happens atleast you will be with your hubby :) and soon enjoying your home in FL :)

I am planning on flying Aberdeen to Miami and have seen flights with BA and AA...
