At least your Walmart sells wine. Living in PA I have to jump through hoops just to look at a bottle and the wine aisle at Tesco and Asda is a distant memory.

I live in SW PA. Our schools do IB from 1st grade. All that means is that they follow a slightly different curriculum with a more global approach.
They can opt in and out each year.

credit card.
When we moved here the card was a Morgan Stanley card. It then became Goldfish and then Barclaycard.
We kept this card because Morgan Stanley had no problem with us living abroad and...

I thought I would resurrect this thread because we have just had a letter from Barclaycard to say they are closing our account as we live abroad:(

We do have two UK bank accounts but no UK address...

No because it was a regional thing. The manager of our local branch is from the Ukraine and is always really helpful and goes the extra mile but the people higher up don't.

I think it depends on the branch because for all my issues with Citizens they have helped us out with RBS issues.
I am not a fan of RBS either but I have banked with them since the ark floated. They...

one of my issues with them was over internet bill payments. We had been happily paying all our bills via our Citizens on line banking thing and then they suddenly stopped it because we weren't LPR's....

We bank with Citizens and have never had that problem.

We set up our account with them before we got our green cards but we do bank with RBS and have done for a very long time. That shouldn't make...
