Yes, it will be a problem. They will ask for evidence of your status in the US.

if your passport is stamped when entering Canada you'd still be okay. You are not a Canadian? Just the next time you apply for a visa they will give you a hard time and it takes time to clear a bar....

Just goto your local photo studio and ask for passport type photo. Requirements are maximum size 2"x2" and from top of head to bottom of chin 1.25". If you have a digital camera you can easily do...
