i think it's useful to do the application when you are with people who can help you find all the necessary documentation you need. Otherwise you have to get them to send birth certificates and things...

We got my son's passport!!!
So after they received all docos on Feb 19 and got an extra letter from our witness it took 2.5 months.
Arrived via DHL courier

It is bizarre. However, I think because my witness was over here, they followed up. Oh well, her letter is winging its way to them now.

My wife applied last month (from USA). We didn't use priority processing.

March 17 - we sent all our documents
March 18 - they asked for Appendix 2

Yes, we applied for my son for a uk passport. The lucky guy has an american and british passport. My daughter has an australian and british passport.
