And I didn't even have to bash the immigrants, to point out the UK's failings!

Re: One Year back in the UK: My Reflections

Trouble is that when you go somewhere on holiday (even if it is back to your former home), it's a lot different to moving back permanently. And that is precisely why I waited a year to post my...

Re: One Year back in the UK: My Reflections

Maybe I'm a troll, or maybe I'm just a Brit guy who lived abroad, came back and thought, "what the hell is wrong with my country?".

Re: One Year back in the UK: My Reflections

I took exception to accusations/assumptions about me, and I let them know that. I've said a whole lot worse to people on this forum who have pissed me off. (God I can't believe this thread is still...

Re: One Year back in the UK: My Reflections

I never once said that I was unhappy. My gang of wannabe psychologists did that for me :p

Seems I rattled a few cages by daring to criticise (Great) Britain. Well it may be a shit-hole, but it's...

Re: One Year back in the UK: My Reflections

Well since I was the one that started the thread, I would say that anyone who decided to single me out for it, were being the ones who were argumentative, negative and obtuse.

Re: One Year back in the UK: My Reflections

I'm actually rather happy with my life at the moment. I'm merely pointing out a few of my country's inadequacies, and not my own. As for your points: culture-dying out with the older generation....

Re: US dentists

I'd have to say that my dentist in the US is much better than anyone I had in the UK. For example I'd never had an X-ray on my mouth before I came to the US (cheap enough for my insurance company to...
