I'm with you on that, Note 8 and iPhone X , best part of $1000, for a phone!!! Who would have dreamt a phone cost more than 2 plane tickets to Europe

There is a little bit of a security issue using SMS as 2FA.

There are 2 1/2 UK home owners that have never had a mortgage rate rise. 8 mn people have never experienced a rate rise in their lifetime

Also smaller fridges don't cost $1000+ . My neighbor told me yesterday her fridge cost $3200 . That's a lifetime supply of UK fridges.

In England it's easy to buy a liter box of OJ, in the US most OJ is 64 oz. A lot of the food items in the US come in larger portions. Not sure about Canada.

Our Kenmore freezer also has a light. My old Creda dryer had a light, my current Samsung has a light. It happens to be the same bulb as the microwave.
