Certainly are in London and where I am in the South - family member is selling a house, after one home viewing 5 offers in, some over asking price although with the crazy way they sell houses here...

Not much. I'm over in the UK right now and as far as I can see it's only bananas and beer that are cheaper, houses, gas, electricity and just about everything else are on the rise again. Good news...

The UK car market is rubbish really and completely arse about face, you buy a new car that costs a fortune and it drops in value by half as you drive away, and second hand cars aren't worth scrap...

it's all relative though, high wages = high cost of living, wages have stagnated and fallen in the UK together with a big currency depreciation

When I moved out from London 6 years ago it was exactly the opposite, everything in Sydney was a third less
