Interesting...does that mean that, if you can take the entire UK pension as a lump sum, then it's not taxable in Canada (although it may be in the UK of course)?

That seems to apply that not only would you pay the Canadian 25% withholding, you'd also get hit for any capital gains outside your UK allowance. Am I reading this correctly?!
