We choose the kids schools on the principals of the school just as much as anything else the school has to offer. We've had them at some schools that seem great on paper, but the dodgy principals...

Oh okay, in my experience (including when I went to school many, many years ago in WA) the schools have always streamed the kids. Maybe I've just struck it lucky.

Most schools in Australia have some kind of academic achievers program and special needs programs for kids that need extra help. If you work hard and are capable of going into the higher classes,...
