If you are already in the country and have an permanent visa, then you can apply to join in exactly the same way as Joe Public.

The Ambulance Service is not going to renew the labour agreement....that is certain. NSW Health is looking to setup a labour agreement which will cover all of health...ASNSW included.

I believe Paramedics are now on the skilled workers list so no labour agreement would be needed in order to provide sponsorship. Those on temp visas should be able to apply for permanent residency at...

Hi Nik, once they contact you and ask you to come out for interview, it is up to you how long it takes. Just book a flight and tell them what date you're coming!

Hi swigski, I am totally aware of the new rules etc. What I was trying to get at is that I don't think you'll need the PSV (Category D) on your licence. Category D is for carrying passengers for hire...
