Blimey, I have just seen Heinz Baked beans in Carrefour. At €2.09 a tin I think we will be doing without!

Can anyone tell me what a reasonable alternative to Jacob's Cream Crackers might be? I have bought one of Jamie Oliver's books and he uses them liberally. I really don't want to have to bring them...

I always use lonza for roasting. I'm not a great cook but even I can manage this.

Flapjacks work with honey - you just have to cook them for a bit less than normal otherwise they go a bit hard.

I only want to make biscuits with the children (they will be "helping", they wont be an ingredient). I'll try honey first, I nearly always use it instead of syrup anyway.

I think that I'll just have to experiment. I haven't seen the Maple Syrup flavoured Golden Syrup (MSFGS?) but we can get Maple Syrup and Pancake Syrup. Might try honey first though.

We have a huge Esselunga by us but the delivery still comes from a different one. I was really annoyed when I found because I liked the idea that the fact I wasn't driving there was my contribution...

My mum just had MY mincemeat confiscated from her hand luggage. She also had some in her suitcase though
