No neither do I although still in UK as non resident in Spain I am one of those caught in the ever increasing age cycle before you get anything.

Yes without doubt you are right as much if not more to do with wooing voters than saving the money which will just be spent elsewhere. Thing is they have no hope of meeting their immigration targets...

Under the proposed single tier pension the Winter Fuel Payment is not affected and will still be paid to those in UK and other defined areas.

Because they changed it from being universal to applying a temperature test.

I have signed it but doubt it will matter they have picked on an easy target as most in UK resent expats through jealousy although of course same people will take advantage of cheap holiday visiting...
