And similarly it's...

Re: General Election NZ

I don't about encouraging voter participation, after all NZ's is reasonable high (among countries where's not obligatory) but surely we can have system where we're not waiting another two weeks for...

Re: General Election NZ

To correct myself I think it's 800,000 voted to date though likely to be 1 mil by election day. Also these votes aren't counted until from 9am on Saturday. Still think it's wrong opening the polls...

Re: General Election NZ

Another wild poll today, the One News poll consistent I with the recent 3 News poll, this giving National a decent lead, though still needing NZ First.

However given that apparently over 1...

Re: General Election NZ

Well a U turn today from Taxinda on the Tax Working Group will now not see anything implemented in a first term if they are elected. Supposedly a Captain's call, instead it seems to smack of lack of...

Re: General Election NZ

Yeah, tend to agree on immigration, it's the quantity and quality of it. At the moment it seems to be the one thing driving GDP growth, though noticeably not GDP growth per head, which is little...

Re: General Election NZ

Well at the risk of receiving more links from Carb, one of the disappointing things from last night's debate was Jacinda Ardern copying the John Key cop-out on raising the pension age, by resigning...

Re: General Election NZ

I don't know he seemed to have to have rode it out, see what the next few polls show. What's becoming clear is that a vote for Greens runs the risk of not counting, with them now hovering just over...

Re: General Election NZ

It's easy to lose count of the number of election bribes floating around at the moment,

Re: General Election NZ

Eh, not sure where you got the idea that Labour have no plans for a capital gains tax, they have firm plans for just that.
To be honest I've little problem with a capital gains tax, most countries...

Re: General Election NZ

Yeah, well the Greens have it coming and not surprising to see them hovering around 5% and danger of returning zero MPs. Undoubtedly Jacinda Ardern seems a nice person, but it's disappointing to see...

Re: General Election NZ

That in itself will make the Election interesting,...
