Just checked my email- PR visa granted!!

Official lodgement date 28th April, so a total of 37 working days (Perth office, paper-based).

Otherwise the letter is identical- now I am worried. Maybe they did want their own letter emailed straight back to them???:confused:

Got employer nomination approved today, in the form of a letter emailed to employer. It says this letter has to be submitted...

Sort of update............
got a call from CO at work today, asking for form 80 for me and OH. Explained no changes to the info compared to the last one, but asked for it anyway. Also said that meds...

Many congratulations!

I am still no further forward. It's also looking likely that meds will have to be re-done ($800- ouch!) since they expired on 22/5/09 and it's too much to hope for that they...

Thanks- Employer nomination is something that could be confirmed by them just ringing your employer and asking 'Are you still sponsoring him/her', but I'm not too sure if they let medicals go as...

Well done everyone so far!
I am now 13th working day post-lodgement. Medicals expire a week today- fingernails suitably bitten!

Did you find things got moving quicker if you phoned or do the...

My application for some reason was returned to Perth from Melbourne, official date of lodgement was 28th and money taken on 30th April

I submitted my 856 application with the employer nomination in the same envelope, posted 21st April to Melbourne. They took my money yesterday and that's all so far................still waiting.
