Just watched the Xmas special Downton Abbey. What an amazing production. The writing, acting and scenery are all first class. Now have to wait until next autumn for the series to continue.

Enjoying The Driver and Cilla was a nicely done bit of nostalgia. The actress playing Cilla was very well cast.

Job Lots - passable and watchable. Just may get better.
Vicious - latest in a long line of british comedy flops. Resurrect Galton and Simpson, please.

Great Night Out - I was suprised,especially after being disappointed with the latest batch of UK comedies. This one was good. Well acted and original writing.

Enjoyed the first episode in the new series of Stella. Although they may have borrowed a couple of the Corrie scriptwriters.
The latest Lewis is also worth a look. Never got around to watching it...

Anyone know whay happened to "superseeds" ? Tried to get my daily fix of UKTV and it's not there - saya the page is broken. Did they take a hit?

IMHO - The Hour, didn't watch after the first. Not my kind of thing.
The Town - OK, watchable, not great.
The Fear - same comment.
Poison Tree - better. Especially when there is not much better...

Obviously not much happening on the UK TV scene at the moment. Must be winding up for the Xmas week?
