Good move. I've often done something similar with balance transfers on credit cards to get a tenth of the usual interest rate or even zero.

The kids still have a month to go on their 2.7% with PC....

So just temporary then. President's Choice did much the same at 2.7% and then it falls back to the usual typically low bank rate.

How did it go? Just asking as I was looking over the RBC site tonight and they seem to have far more options than the other banks.

Even some investments with better returns than those institutions...
