It's certainly a terrible tragedy to see such a wonderful creature die, but trying to push the dolphin back into the water does seem like a logical thing to try to do, so that part doesn't seem bad....

Quite right! If a bunch of customs guys empty out my luggage, I sure as hell want to be the one putting it all back! Unless they have photographic memories, they aren't likely to be 100% accurate...
