Well we just submitted our O1 renewal and used about half of the original letters of attestation from the petition three years ago. Yes we wrote all our letters too - man - the stuff we wrote, made...

That is so annoying and yes unprofessional. Can you write a sample letter and forward that to them, stating dates worked and his work duties, very basic - no superlatives or comment on work...
