Nope, it will have no effect at all. You need to apply for the US visa/ESTA/whatever on the basis of the citizenship you hold. Having a visa for Australia - PR or otherwise - is irrelevant.

Do NOT get a tourist visa, it will cancel out your Spouse Visa:eek:

You validate your Spouse visa by travelling to Australia on it and going through Immigration. You don't need another visa.
