AC are going to take on Transat and WestJet in to LGW.. but with their Rouge product - which, if you're not aware, has narrower seats and shorter seat pitch, and overall a very much inferior service...

To be fair, WestJet have honoured their "price drop guarantee" the last two times I've flown with them - but the onus is on you to keep track of if the price drops, take screen shots and contact...

Westjet currently credits at 100% redeemable miles to American... most AC fares earn 25-50% of miles flows on Aeroplan these days (and, IIRC, it's similar when crediting to United)
