You don't put money on a GTF list. You must declare if you are carrying more than $10,000 in cash or convertible securities otherwise, as a returning Canadian, it is no concern of CBSA.

To the OP. You are tax resident in the UK at the moment? It seems so. If you move back to Canada you will become a tax-resident here. From that day forward the CRA have a claim on any income or...
