Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

I vaguely remember seeing Strongbow in Lidl, but was probably some time ago.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

I'll have to freeze as much as I can before it goes to see then - I love coriander.

Amazingly Famila had so this morning, so stocked up with some to freeze. Now just have to track down fresh sage until the tiny plant in the garden grows.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

I have tried growing parsnips here, but the flavour wasn't as good - I think it may be due to the lack of deep frosts.

I use fennel leaves a bit like herbs. I am sure you can use the celery leaves but I end up throwing those away too.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

someone just told me that some forums have negotiated a discount for members with British Corner Shop - abbruzzolutely (sp) apparently. Could be worth approaching them - surely BritishExpats.com...
