Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Have fun in Florence! Are you just travelling over for the day and then going straight back to Gallipoli or heading elsewhere?

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Must admit I don't make risotto with it, I just prefer it to other long grain rice. Do you prefer it with long to short grain then?? You could also look out for Japanese rice which is closer to...

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

If you go to their main website you can do a search by store for the different offers - it's how I knew what to look for when I got there! Even within Florence the offers can vary from store to store...

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Nope, no Esselunga down south I'm afraid! Mainly Tuscany and Lombardy with a few in other Northern areas.

They are doing a bogof at the moment, I got two packets of Jordans on it! You can also get...

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Try some different brands of unsalted crackers here, a few are similar - mulino and pavesi are probably the best bets for unsalted.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

I have to say, considering the alleged North/South split in Italy where politics are concerned I find this all topsy-turvy!! Surely there should be nothing like this North of Florence but available...

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

Re: The Comfort Zone. Favourite food, drinks, where to buy, and recipes.

I got my stove top on points with Esselunga, so they aren't that unusual, no, I think electric one's were because they use up so much of your capacity if you are only on 3kw.:) I see alot of ricers...
