I spoke to the child protection officer at length and as it stands the parents are allowed zero contact at the moment. Eldest is safe and well with grandparents, youngest is in emergency foster care...

Solicitors was a waste of both of our times. How can it "possibly" cost upwards of 10k and "possibly as much as 14k" to apply to the family court for a custody order?...
