We dive up in the bay quite often, seen a few sharks though nothing really big & scary. The water is so clear vis is usually around the 15-20 m mark. I'm more worried swimming in shallow water than...

I've not seen the plans so I'm not sure how us tinnie owners will be affected. I use the marina for launching my boat on a regular basis, at present there are insufficient parking spaces for car/ute...

No it's the Roy Rufus Artificial Reef locally referred to as the "Arti" It's just to the East of Big Woody Island between there & Fraser Island. Have a look here...

Not really, if you have google earth & zoom in on Hervey bay you can see the airport then due south half way between the airport & River Heads you'll find Booral, you can see for yourself then.

I'll be up there tomorrow morning with my son for a dive or two on the "Arti" followed by a couple of hours fishing.
If all goes to plan I'll be BBQing a few fish for lunch while our grand daughter...
