Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

For the love of god! I can't believe I have to explain myself on this. It's called sarcasm - of course I don't think that. He/she share exactly the same opinion. I'm a troll for a stupid post - you...

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

Careful - with those views your either a troll, incorrect or not factual. I'm still waiting for the evidence that the preference system has delivered exactly what the voters voted for in these seats....

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

That was my point! - that comment is just as useful as your incorrect or your not factual. Absolutely pointless.

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

If I'm wrong I'm wrong - but please show me some evidence - don't just say thats not a fact or that is incorrect.

Its not really helping me to understand why I'm wrong.

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

I thought I posted on this thread ages ago? Please explain to me Wilkie seat? What is it that I'm missing?

You seem to think I have an agenda for knocking labor - thats incorrect as I said that is...

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

I do. Who is the troll? You for responding to every person who you don't agree with as being incorrect or not factual or me for posting something with hindsight that was crossing the line? (Sorry...

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

The independents backing labor doesn't support this theory as the electorates preference vote was lib. So yes someone can.

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

No as I said earlier i can't - will be able to at the next one though.

I see your point but it's not reality though. Surely we both know that with mandatory voting not all people make there own...

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

Couldn't disagree more. What's immoral is preference deals being cut behind closed doors. What's immoral is winning most votes and seats and still not winning.

First past the post would have...

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

The whole political system here cracks me up. Take the Wilkie guy for instance, he has lost first count by 10,000 votes to labor. But has then received 20,000 in preferences of which over 14,000 I...

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread

I guess that's what I'm struggling to get. The people have spoken - they have voted and got what they wanted. If another election is done in say 2 weeks time why will the result be any different.

I don't really understand this. So will everyone vote differently the 2nd time around? Can they just have a run off vote?
