i think the divide is going to continue between rich and poor ,it wont be resolved untill there is armed revolution .

your right on the money with each state being differnt ,almost like small individual countries .
Here in the west the differnce can be as small as 600 km ,with the perth market in a huge slump...

yes i believe they did ,im only going on personal experience though . I know i lost on one house and gained on the other ,they both dropped by 10% but what the official figures would be i dont know ....

dont know about south australia but i dont think west australians pay stamp duty on purchase of their first house , and migrants come under that category , i know i didnt . Not sure of the cut off...

thats about 350000 dollars , wouldnt get you much in australia .In a major city close to amenities . Maybe get a 200000 mortgage and you could be getting close ,especially here in perth where prices...
