I replied on this forum about a TV programme!

My point was how can starting at 5.30 am to do a 10 hour shift laying bricks in up to 35 deg improve your lifestyle?

I understand how you feel... but have you lived elsewhere long enough to see other countries problems? I mean a few years ago people were raving about Cape Town ...look at the Sky News...

I would never knock bus driving I have been a chauffeur for 4 years and fully understand the demands of the road!!!

I get as angry as the next person about the lack of government etc. in this country...the best answer is to stay and fight them and make this country great again!

Point taken but these television programmes hardly ever reflect real life in the country, they always bang on about having a bbq, going down to the beech etc.

I have seen too many Brits slaving 19 hours a day running bars and restaurants in Spain only to come home poorer and disillusioned.

I have known families to go over to Australia and be faced with...

I watched the programme for the second time today.

How was that brick layer chap going to improve his lifestyle? Getting up at 04.45
in the morning for a 05.30 start. Then in the heat of summer...
