457 visa is a temp employment visa not a pr visa 175 and 176 are skilled pr visa -

do you have a sponser ? for your 457?

if you have a skills assissment and your employer is willing to sponser you on a employer skilled visa which is a pr visa that would be the way to go

espcially as they are now getting priority...

i think you can front loaded any meds - however make sure you are ready to apply as well you have any pcc if needed available and all docs that you require so that the co has everything in front of...

your doctor can send them on with passport no on them they will then get matched up when they get them

we did our meds 2 days before we got our ref nos all the doctor did was add passport no's on...

if she will be working in hospital or schools then full meds however normally she will only need an xray so will you

the kids will need a full med

what did your boss actually say on the visa application would be your job as it doesn't at the moment seem like a 457 visa - ie a skilled job - seems like a local - ie an aussie could have done this ?

i agree


if hes not worked full time in the job he was sponsered in then he lied to immi which will if uncovered mean that the visa is cancelled and the "employer " is banned from sponsering...

dont worry about bmi as you prob will only need an xray unless you are going to work in a school or hospital if you are a stay at home mum then you will be fine = as soon as you apply get your meds...

well 1 yr ago today i left the uk for my new life in au - good luck for those that are just about coming over and for those about to apply xx its a fab life and so worth it :thumbsup:

thats what happened with us last yr they were all put in together and the sponsership was approved on the same day as the meds were finalised and approved the next day the visa was approved - 28...

hi mike i am tiff otherwise known as hithcock i started this thread some moons ago as i was about to apply for my 457 visa and there was no real thread for us 457 if there is anything i can help you...
