I don't know that I've ever tried Old Pulteney. I knew there was a distillery in Wick but am not familiar with its product. Thank you for the recommendation!

To drink with soda or (if you must, Bristol) with sweet pop, possibly over ice as a long drink, then I would prefer a "premium blend" from Johnnie Walker or Grouse (the Black Grouse is quite nice)....
