Its lost on just about everyone isn't it? Don't think I even bothered watching England in it. Absolute no-win game for Brazil, I bet none of them want to be picked for it.

I think it looks like 20th place. FIFA have a little tool to see how many points each country gets with recent events, I think England drops to 18 with their results, but then a couple of even lower...

We have had ping pong diplomacy, more recently an attempt at basketball diplomacy and now football diplomacy. Does this mean we can start calling it soccer again soon?

Brendan cant just throw him under the bus though. Got to say the club still want him, got to push Barcelona to go to the full buy-out clause price. Barcelona are still apparently interested.

Looks like seven European teams will go through, a lot better than it looked just a day or two ago, when I thought it would just be four.

The Americas are 6 for 6 so far, getting out of the groups. (Though Group E will mess that stat up tomorrow).

Europe is 1 for 5.

(Argentina and Belgium are also through, from the lower half of...

For some reason, this World Cup, I keep getting Honduras and Ecuador mixed up. Odd as they are in different continents. Anyway at least they have different shirt colors today, that helps.

If it stays like this, Costa Rica will be the first to qualify from the group. Dead and pointless game on Tuesday. All to play for in the Italy vs Uruguay game though.
