Black pepper on pineapple works very well, especially chucked on the barbie. Bit of balsamic, too - which is wonderful on strawberries :)

I'd read that, but I really can't stand them. I don't eat many of the non-eco bananas (love them but slight intolerance to them) so it's no big deal.
