The 6months is for State nominated visa, not RSMS.

Adelaide is RSMS friendly as is Darwin. Besides, you can still get pretty close to some of the cities with RSMS.

Not 100% correct. Regional Sponsored Migration requires no experience whatsoever and is also has the advantage of being a permanent visa. I also believe that if you are in Australia on a 457 you dont...
