Not a problem here mate... banks would be happy to let you take out a mortgage that you would still be paying for at 67. The Comm Bank offered my exactly that when I first arrived in Oz.

The magic is very long term mortgage periods to keep the payments down.

I was offered a mortgage when I first got here that would have taken me way past retirement age to pay off and that's not...
