I saw one when I lived in Spain, we had a road down to the beach which went under a main road, everytime we had a real downpour it flooded, and it could do it very quickly, went round by it one day...

They're also in the UK, but the advantage of the pulley one was that the drying clothes were lifted out of the way and left the floor area uncluttered.

I keep getting letters from my bank saying they were offering me a loan, but I'm too old to get a loan from them, and they must know that. You have to be of working age.

Why would you need to actually visit a bank, I've been into my branch once since I moved here and that was to change address. everything else is done on-line.

Everything that could identify anyone is blurred out, faces of people, car number plates etc. Just ensures those who should be somewhere else can't be identified, The very first images didn't have...

My last amazon order, three thins, had delivery dates from next day to 4 days. all arrived the next day. I do use prime.
